Hsinchu, Taiwan – Immense Oak Technologies, Inc. (IOT) proudly releases a new version of Acorn Development Environment (ADE). The new version is 3.4.2.
ADE is a no-code/low-code HMI development platform that delivers HMI’s GUI with excellent visual effects. ADE offers GUI design, I/O control setting, and communication protocol implementation in a single tool. ADE is the only tool that developers ever need from design, simulation to deployment of HMI projects; no other third party tool is ever needed.
The new release of ADE offers the Japanese user interface that significantly shortens the learning curve for the Japanese users. Japan is one of IOT’s target markets. IOT expects a wide adoption of ADE in Japan. This Japanese user interface of ADE will speed up the adoption rate in Japan.
Furthermore, customers are requesting “white-labels” HMI projects that allow end-users to upload their own logo during HMI product power-up process. This ADE release enables users to customize the power-on images. IOT takes one step forward to allow more HMI project customization.
IOT has observed the increased popularity of our Nexus Panel product line. In order to simplify the HMI design process, this new release of ADE provides separate Nexus Panel templates for users to select at the beginning of the HMI design process. This new addition of templates offers separate product features that are specific to the Nexus Panel line.
Easy-to-learn is one of ADE’s advantages. IOT provides each standard widget with an educational video. The Meter Graphic Widget library is a non-standard widget library. Customers can take advantage of this library to design images suitable for their aesthetics requirements. The widgets of this library come with extensive parameter settings. Educational videos are a good venue to bring designers up to speed on how to use these widgets. In this new release of ADE, the education videos for this widget library are built in.
